AUSTIN, Texas (Apr 1, 2010) -- On April 1, 2010, Test and Measurement World announced that the VI Technology MMTS™ Moving Video Test System would be awarded the prestigious Best in Test Award. This is the second year in a row readers of this leading magazine for engineers in electronic test and measurement have voted VI Technology, an Aeroflex Company, Best in Test in the “Audio/Video and Multimedia” category.
MMTS™ Moving Video Test System uses state-of-the-art automated analysis techniques to uncover errors that were previously undetectable with manual testing procedures. Instead of capturing a still image frame and manually analyzing one frame at a time for errors, the MMTS™ Moving Video Test System captures the entire video sequence and compares it to a reference golden video stream. Engineers can now analyze all frames for a user-designated period of time and analyze each frame for common video errors. Multiple videos or a series of images can be used to create and edit a golden video.
