New Arendar 2.2 Expands Database, Data Type, and OS Support While Increasing Performance and Data Maintenance Abilities
AUSTIN, Texas (Mar 8, 2004) -- VI Technology, Inc. announced today Arendar 2.2, the newest version of it’s test
data, information, and product performance management software. Arendar software
is designed for test engineers to manage test application data in the lab, factory
and across the enterprise.
Enhancements to the latest version include:
- Expanded database and OS support for legacy systems
SQL Server 7 (In addition to SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i)
Windows NT4 (In addition to Windows XP Pro, 2000 Pro, and 2000 Server)
- Increased performance
New communication options to trade off speed with fault tolerance

Export/Import schema to extract data structures from one Arendar installation and
import it into a different installation.
Available now, pricing for Arendar Desktop Edition is $1995. Arendar Enterprise
Edition starts at $4995 for the server and $1495 for each test station client. Pricing
for upgrades from previous versions of the Desktop Edition is $495 and Enterprise
Edition server is $995. Enterprise Edition clients can be upgraded at no charge.
