RMA External Process
Return Material Authorization for Values of $2,500 or Less
IMPORTANT
Do not return products without first obtaining an RMA number from VI Technology, Inc.
Return Policy
Purchaser may return unwanted Products within 15 days of the delivery date. An RMA must be obtained from VI Technology prior to any returns being accepted by VI Technology. Products under warranty must be returned within the warranty period.
Call VI Technology
Please call our buyer at (512) 388-3490, ext. 202 if you would like to return merchandise. You will need to provide the Company Name, Customer Name, Phone Number, Fax Number, Your Original P.O. Number, Part Number, and Reason for the return. We will fax you our RMA form and number. Please complete and return the
RMA form
with your shipment. Returns from separate customer purchase orders will require separate RMA numbers.
Specify the Reason for the Return
RMA merchandise may be returned for 1) ordering the wrong part, 2) delivery of the wrong part, 3) ordering more parts than actually needed, 4) ordered part received dead on arrival, or failed part under VI Technology’s warranty.
Condition of Material Returned
Any unwanted Product that is returned to VI Technology must be in its original unused condition, have all of its packing materials, documentation, software and any other parts and accessories that may have been supplied with the Product. Prior to accepting returned Products, VI Technology reserves the right to inspect all returned Products to ensure they meet with the above conditions.
Shipping
The customer shall be responsible for correctly packing and shipping the material to VI Technology. An address is provided on the
RMA form
. Please return the completed
RMA form
at the top of the packing material inside your shipping container. Write the complete RMA number on the outside of the package.
Shipping Costs
Each RMA shipment to us is paid by the customer only when the wrong part was ordered. Our return shipments to you will be paid by VI Technology.
Restocking Charge
Purchaser shall pay VI Technology a twenty percent (20%) restocking charge on all unwanted Products returned to VI Technology. In addition to this restocking charge, Purchaser agrees to reimburse VI Technology for any amounts that VI Technology must pay to its supplier(s) in connection with the return of the unwanted Product.
Return material under warranty will not be assessed a restocking charge. After the warranty period, all items need to be returned to the original equipment manufacturer.
