Software Engineering
The developers in these positions use professional software development tools for
large-duration projects (6 months - 2 years). In these positions, you will work
with, and in some cases supervise a team of software engineers for developing automated
instrumentation applications using Microsoft Visual Studio (C#, C++, Visual Basic)
and National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
Systems Engineering
In these positions, engineers design and integrate both hardware and software components
to develop state-of-the-art PC-based systems for automated test, measurement, and
automation for the semiconductor, communication, automotive, and other technology
industries.
Hardware Engineering
Hardware Engineers at VI Technology are involved with all aspects of automated instrumentation,
process control, and measurement design. Hardware designs range from printed circuit
boards to large automated test systems that include analog and digital design.
Technicians
Technicians at VI Technology integrate electronic measurement systems, work with
vendors to define system components, build prototypes, develop schematics, layout
printed circuit boards, and document electronic and mechanical systems using CAD.
